600murray, that was the scene I was referring to when I started this thing. While the scene was basically a violent struggle, it was not the "most gory" or "most violent" etc. but it still was quite disturbing.
My brother, who STILL hasn't signed up on here, says that The Photo Drama of Creation wins hands down. Again, I've never seen it so can't opine.
If nothing else comes from this thread, I've learned about some films to be sure to avoid. :)
Oh, and Tinker; dreaming about Herve...now that is disturbing enough to perhaps seek treatment! lol

most disturbing movie scene you've seen?
by knock knock ini haven't seen this topic on here so i thought i'd.... hmmm, maybe it's because it's just too disturbing?
to me, the scene in saving private ryan - the two soldiers in the small upstairs room fighting hand to hand to the death (by stabbing).
i think that is the most disturbing thing i've seen on screen and there were plenty just in that film alone.

This may be turning into the most disturbing thread ever. A thing I had not intended!
Megadude, I have seen very, very few of the islamic videos. Basically only what is shown on the news. I think it would be too much for me view. I used to watch old documentaries about WWII with my dad. He had gone through Buchenwald just after it was liberated and the things he described were horrific. Man, this has turned depressing. -

Bryan,I've not seen Reservoir Dogs, only references to it but nothing in depth.
FHN, interesting, my brother said definitely "that scene in Deliverance..." I'm guessing you mean "that scene" too. Me, I'm not a big banjo fan. lol
A friend long ago was, I'm told, absolutely freaking terrified after going to see American Werewolf In London. Said he was terrified that demons were coming after him and couldn't sleep for days. And here I thought it was just a hokey horror film. -

So what's yours (not counting your home movies)? It's not the Abbot and Costello - Who's On First routine is it?? -

Can't resist a kitty thread. This guy is a climber. He's a few months older now and still chases drumsticks in motion by jumping from drum to drum. The other thing he does that I think is cool is that he has a small catnip toy that he deposits in his food dish while he eats. Kind of like a kid with a baseball glove. lol

by Nathan Natas ina week or so ago my friend danny haszard informed me of a website that was permitting discussion of the jws and their blood worshipping idolatry (my terms, not theirs).
i was in a mood fit for a fight, so i thought i'd participate.. i think i made some valid points and offered some good counter-arguments.. so today i was notified of a new post in that thread:.

Do you sometimes wish there was an iggy button here?
by mrsjones5 inwhen i used to chat on yahoo if someone was annoying or harassing there was an option to ignore that person.
you could still see that the person was in the room but you didn't have to read anything they said.
every once in a while i wish that option was here too.. josie.
